Hello there,
The ravens are cawing and the sun is just breaking through the heavy fog this
morning. It is mysterious and cozy and I love it! I hope your are cozy also, and that the mysterious world captivates you in its unfolding story.
Five little things, not so mysterious but hopefully a little cozy and encouraging. Please
enjoy.
1.
Life is full of pain. And sweetness. Sometimes it is a matter of perspective, sometimes a matter of choice, and sometimes the world offers you a bit sweetness in the pain.

2.
I found this picture of my sister and I (I am on the right) and wrote a bit of something about it here.
It is good to remember the child you were and where when magic was real. It is still there, the magic, still real. Waiting to find new ways to enchant.
3.
A charming animation of the
elemental archetypes from Miyazaki films.I've been out of balance
fire and spirit, leaning into water balance.
4.
I often stall on projects about 3/4 through, even when I love them and am eager to have them finished. It's the slog point for me. I had hit this point in a commissioned knitting project and it was creating a bottleneck for other things. I felt guilty when working on something else but resisting picking up the knitting.
I brought it to last Monday's Muse
Meet-Up and even though I ended up ripping back what I had knit plus some (that is just the creative way sometimes), I reconnected to the rhythm of the work and the beautiful yarn. I am now well past the slog and moving toward finishing. Sometimes it helps to have a structured time to just get the work done.
You can still join The Must Meet-Up of course, and you don't even have to bring anything sloggy at all. Just some intentional time for your creative practice as self-care. Details are below if you want to check it out.
5.
A blessing for your week:
