five things friday: snippets from the junk drawer of the mind

Hello there,
Do you ever go back though your journals or personal writing? I never use to. I have
stacks of composition books filled with rants, complainants, ideas, visions, dreams, calculations, all jumbled together like a junk drawer of my mind.
Like a
junk drawer most of what's in there never sees the light of day again. Also like a junk drawer much can thrown out. Some has some use but no other home. And then there are a few now recognized treasures stashed away long ago without much thought.
Here are a few of the latter, tiny wisps of thoughts caught by my pen before they blew away.
Take a look back at some old writing of yours and see what gems
you find. Let it be an oracle and see what magic it holds for who you are now, maybe offering some direction, perhaps some balm for your tender heart.
1. I dream of who I am in the morning before I decide who I am. I dream of who I am and wonder if I dream too small a dream of me.
2. I want the courage to let all the texture and experiences, all the hard and soft, all the humanness, glorious and flawed to be here, to show up, to be lived, to be loved.
3.
Hopes and dreams, fears and regrets are really not so far
apart. They feel very different but all point to the dream of the soul has for this life.
4. In this moment I want to unfurl all the tight and secret
places where I have hidden dreams.
5.
A
blessing for your week:
(Vintage Wisdom Oracle by Victoria Moseley)
May you find gratitude crowning what is beautiful and worthy in your life, what is unfurling, and what is being remembered.
