December 12, 2014, Look at how nature flashes her beauty!
Dear Elemental Soul,
A friend asked me about the nature of a big transformative shift I am going through. The kind that has me awake for hours in the middle of the night and when I do sleep I have strange, unsettling dreams. Dreams I know are working out fear of rejection and ridicule even as I am compelled to grow and change and drop ever more social niceties and conventions in
favor of my more elemental and wild nature.
The image that came to me was of a little girl in a frilly party dress, the kind that needs special ruffly panties. The kind that, when she twirls, flairs out revealing her cute undies. You know that girl, so proud of her ruffly bottom, wants to twirl and twirl and twirl until she is so dizzy she falls over. And, she wants everyone to
see aalllll of her special outfit so she also flashes her ruffly bottom but then gets shy because she knows she really shouldn't.
I feel like that little girl lately. Wanting to show all the good bits, but shy sometimes. Worried about being inappropriate, of transgressing the social norm. Afraid of being judged and told to cover myself up. To which my friend said, “What if you did a full on reveal of your ruffly panties? Get it all out there so you couldn't take it back?” In other words, make the declaration that I have ruffly panties and I want to you see them!
So here I am, twirling and showing you my ruffles.
Which is me sharing the heart of what I do and why.
As a coach I am a trained question asker.
I ask questions that open up curiosity and insight so you gain perspective, tapping into the wisdom and creativity within. There are other things I do as a coach, but really it is about the questions.
I weave together meanings, intuitions and information you've shared and tell a story that guides and provides insight and wisdom for you. Again, there are may other things I do when I read cards, but it is really about the relevance and insights of the story I tell.
As Human Design reader I look at the energy patterns of your soul as revealed by your birth information. I give you insight and information that helps you understand how to most effectively and joyfully
use your talents, gifts and purpose. Again, there are many other things I do when reading a chart but really, I want you to walk away with practical strategies about making the best choices for yourself and having deeper appreciation and understanding of exactly who you are right now.
I write these letters
to you and make videos and offer you ways to work with me because I believe with all my heart that story telling, deep inquiry, witnessing and sharing life experiences creates love. It creates acceptance. It creates understanding, hope, and willingness. It creates permission to have the exact life you want in the exact way you want.
I
want to be a voice whispering to you that what you dream is important.
What you desire is spirit calling you.
What you struggle with, are embarrassed by, wish were different, are not flaws of your being but ways your
experience is asking you to know yourself more intimately.
To dive into the corners of yourself, down under the pain or awkwardness, to the place where the inner chambers of your heart beat only for you.
And there gain council from your knowing soul.
At its essence my work calls you to this intimacy with yourself and grows dominion in your life. I meet you here and we create beauty. We create our world. Here we are expressed love. Here we tap the messy luminescence of being. Here you are able to find the parts of you ready to twirl with abandon and flash what ever needs to be seen.
To do this we must step though a portal. A portal of Self. I am a guide though that portal. I don't have answers but I have lots of questions, stories, wisdom and knowledge. I have faith in you. In your elemental nature. I have trust in the
mystery and the unseens to reveal magic when needed, resources when desired, and patience when it all looks different than expected.
What I do is unconventional in many circles and I have been uncomfortable, if not frightened by that at times. It hasn't stopped me, but it has kept me from fully twirling and flashing my knickers the way I most wanted. If you also have held back
your full twirling glory, I understand.
Here's the truth. I am a practically minded, spiritually oriented, creative mystic.
I want to lead you though the passageways of your desire so you can live by the warmth of your deepest
heart. Beautifully, wildly, in imperfect and messy perfection. I want you to breathe the air of your own embodied life.
