Happy New Year 2018!
This is a short little note to wish you a wonderful New Year however you celebrate it.

2017 has been, interesting shall I say. I am looking forward to a fresh start, even as I don't have much mapped out for the new year just yet.
It usually takes me a good part of January to feel myself fully in a new year, so I take the first few weeks to let ideas and intentions settle in their own timing.
Except this year I have the urge to do something a bit different and I am going with it!
Yesterday I put the final touches January's Letters from the Liminal, my last official piece of work for the year. Usually the final bit of work is completed with a satisfied sigh and an eagerness to close shop for a bit. But last
night as I was relaxing over a dinner of Chinese take-out eaten straight out of the carton and sipping cheap Prosecco out of tiny bottle though a straw (Fancy, right? It may sound a bit sad but was really wonderfully perfect), I found myself thinking how I didn't feel quite done, how there was something else I wanted to do to transition from 2017 to 2018. I though, "I could do a Surprise Flash Sale!" I've never done one before. It would be totally impromptu, and it would
have to be easy (as in not having to wade into the tech jungle of my website creating codes and changing buttons). Could be fun I thought. Unexpected. And the idea hung around over night, so I'm doing it!
