~This is a time of
sacred activism and
subversive wise woman
power~
Dear Beautiful One,
These words came to me while holding sacred ceremony for a group of women this past Saturday. They felt true as they flowed into my journal, even as I didn’t exactly know what they meant. I still don’t. And they still feel true.

My work has always been about helping women come home to themselves. Through self and spiritual care, emotional fluency and mystical ways of receiving guidance. Embracing the sacred feminine, following our yin energy,
tending our sensitive, empathic and intuitive ways of knowing in a world, leading with vulnerability, is radical. In and of itself is this is revolutionary. A form of activism in service of our deeper humanity. Our most profound work is inner and intimate which then moves out into the world through our choices and actions. This has never been more critically important.

These words form a thread to hold on to as I find my way through waves of grief, fear, anger and uncertainty. I see division and violence
hurting people and tearing at my country and the world. I hold on as the ugliest parts of us come light and new paths call to forged.

A woman at home in herself is a subversive force of nature. She will rise up and claim her space, her voice will travel loudly, her expression will defy millennia of patriarchy trying to silence her and those who are different. Never underestimate the radical power of an awakened woman. She knows who she is. She knows she is strong. She knows that strength is
in her tears of pain just as much as her battle cries. In her tenderness and quiet prayer just as potently as her joy and pleasure. When she is weary and hurt she knows she is not alone.

My convenient blinders have been ripped off. I am finding my way in a world I prayed would not come to be. This has brought forth a new strength. Sometimes we find our clearest voice when challenged. We get fierce when what is precious to us is harmed or threatened. We are forged through trial just as we are softened through grief and
expanded though love. It happens over and over through out our life. Now is a collective calling forth into our full selves and community. Communities of our choosing, not dictated by governments and rulers, but by our hearts and our love.

Create your art. Tend babies. Teach. Heal. Write letters. Cook dinner. Do your work. Play. Cry. Grow flowers and vegetables. Fight. Stand up for someone. Dance. Call a friend. Reach out to someone different. Listen. Rest. Protest. Love. Ask for a hug. Confront your shadows. Laugh. We each will
find the pieces that are our own and together we will heal and grow. It is bumpy and painful I know. We will help each other. Radical. Subversive. Sacred. I will keep seeking more of my pieces. It leads to holy ground within and new languages of change for the world.

activism and subversive wise woman power.
Will you join me?
Tell me how you are. I want to know.
Much love and subversive power,
Sandi
