It's been a bit since I've been
here with these lists, hasn't it. It is good to be back. While my leisurely break was restorative, it was not exactly what I envisioned. A second bout of Covid disrupted plans but Bridgerton and kdramas proved nice distractions while I recovered. I am thankful I had plenty of time for lots of rest. I know I am beating one of my favorite drums, but rest is truly holy and magical.
I hope this week's tiny things spark
something restorative or magical however, humble and small.
Life and the world are hard and ever more unpredictable, and still each of is here. In this place, in this time, doing our best even when struggling with the complexity and sorrow of it all. "You Are Here" makes space for nature and poetry weave us back together, individually and collectively. Not just by reading the words of others but by inspiring us to write our own words, to write our own "here".

I've been making tiny wishes for myself. More will come. Reminders of qualities I tend to tuck away when challenges come along.
Are parts or qualities of yourself tucked away? Here is your reminder that they are not gone and can be found again. Sometimes we need
reminders.

I've been getting to know the Lenormand cards.
This morning's reading:
Dreaming Way Lenormand by Lynn Araujo, art by Kwon Shina
While obstacles seem large and looming, the kindness and care you extend towards yourself and the world will steward strong roots of growth and branches of vitality.

Park time.
Since I was not up to doing much for my birthday, thank you Covid, Alan and I ended up sitting on a bench in the park, fancy chai in hand and watched the birds, the lake, and this cutie.
Humble, simple, ordinary time. It may not seem like much but in the moment and circumstances of the day it was perfection.

A blessing for your
week:

May the element of water bless you with calm and cooling flow.
