Hello there,
Well. The election happened.
How are we all doing?
I am many things including profoundly disappointed but not too shocked, which is tragic in its own way. I've been swinging between despair, rage, and heartbrake. I can feel beginnings of curiosity and focus on comes next forming on the edges. I am giving myself lots of space to feel, making sure I am drinking water, reaching out to dear ones to check in how they are
doing. I made play dough with my 3 year old friend Odin on Wednesday and that helped more than I can say.
There is time, take the time, to unpack all the emotions whatever they are. Let yourself move at the pace of them. Don't sacrifice this most potent time of inner wayfinding to the demands to get over and get on with it. Let it take the time and form it needs.
I had planed to introduce and open sales for my new creation, The Sensuality of Living Oracle Deck, this week but I greatly underestimated the weight of
pre-election anxiety and post election turmoil. The final bits and details before my shop can open will need to wait a wee longer while I take my own advice and let my spirit have the
space she needs to orient to the dramatically different landscape of my country.
I would like to share a bit from the deck with you today though. Life is glorious and tragic, beautiful and jagged. I call it it the sensuality of living, the way the messy and sacred, the dross and the gold, the disappointments and victories of life come together to create the richness and depth of
living.
