Some weeks are just a bit harder to go about normal business. This is one, what with the future of women in this the US being able to control our bodies and all, all but gone. And yet, here we are, and here are some small things, even trivial things, that have helped me keep breathing and doing my best to do my best.
1.
It seems a time where tiny thoughts on life are a bit insignificant, that it is a time where bold action is needed, and it is. But also, it is in the tiny moments, the small insights, the micro shifts, where new growth and change can happen. Sometimes it is the only place that is manageable when the larger forces are so threatening and large.
Never underestimate the power of small, consistent movements, even when there are setbacks.

I know I just wrote some nice words on powerful actions however small, but what if I were to tell you how much I didn't want to do anything except curl up all cozy and warm in the dark and dream my way back to myself and an easier world?
You don't need me to tell you the world is complex and overwhelming. Take some time to let your dreaming body help you sort things out. Or just rest. Rest is always a good option.
